The Cougars were in control of the game with a 61-48 advantage until 5:17 before the end of the fourth quarter when the Knights started to climb back within striking distance.

Knights star Luke Stankavage made back-to-back clutch baskets, including his game-tying layup with 10 seconds left before the end of regulation. During the overtime period, the Knights carried over their momentum during the clutch and continued to pound the ball to secure their come-from-behind victory at the close of the overtime period. The final score was 77-74.
